Medical gypsum bandages are used for fixation of all types of bone fractures, immobilization in case of bone and joint diseases, soft tissue injuries, first aid, fixation during surgical interventions, etc. They are intended for use in traumatology, orthopedics, surgery for the treatment of fractures, injuries, diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
Technical characteristics:
- Gypsum bandages are made of medical gauze cut into strips and impregnated with high quality gypsum mass;
- Hypoallergenic composition;
- Material of manufacture - viscose and gypsum (CaSO4);
- Exactly cut edges of the gauze, fixed edge, not fraying;
- The gypsum bandage is wound on a plastic core, which makes it easier to unwind when applying the bandage;
- Good transmission of X-rays;
- Hardening time: beginning - 1.5-2 minutes, end - 4-10 minutes.
- Density not less than 400 g/m³;
- Shelf life: 3 years from the date of manufacture indicated on the package;
- Individual packaging in a waterproof sealed bag.
- Non-sterile.
