PURPOSE

The HIV 1/2 Rapid Antibody Test (HIV 1/2) (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) is a rapid dual antigen chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of antibodies in whole blood, serum or plasma. It is intended for use as a screening test and as an aid in the diagnosis of HIV infection. Any reactive specimen with the HIV 1/2 Rapid Test must be confirmed by an alternative test method(s).
